We have been bestowed two types of gifts during our trips around the sun.
I call the first type “head” gifts. You know, flowers, clothing, slippers, sparkly bling, or shiny new toys (Uh, not those types of toys, get your mind outta the gutter, gang!).
The second type of gift is what I refer to as “heart” gifts. These aren’t necessarily material things but invoke a strong emotional response. They vibe at the frequency of love: a lingering glance from your beloved, a baby’s smile, a passionate piece of art or music, or a walk in the forest.
Both heart gifts and head gifts have value and are wonderful, but looking back on your life, what has been the greatest gift you have ever received? Was it a heart gift or a head gift?
